Honoring our past, healing in the present, and building strength for what's to come

Brothers to Brothers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community of Black men in Whatcom County committed to building connection, trust, and empowerment. We exist to create safe and sacred spaces where Black men can heal, grow, and lead—mentally, physically, spiritually, and economically.

Our mission is to strengthen the collective well-being of Black men through holistic wellness, education, cultural reconnection, and community leadership. We believe that when Black men are supported and resourced to live fully, entire communities thrive.

Through initiatives like the Sankofa Wellness Project, mentorship, and civic engagement, we’re reclaiming our stories, rebuilding trust, and nurturing a generation of men grounded in wholeness and purpose.

We are more than an organization—we are a brotherhood. A movement to heal, build, and lead together.

The Sankofa Wellness Project is more than a health initiative—it’s a pathway to wholeness, leadership, and liberation.

Through retreats, workshops, and community partnerships, we address the social, economic, and systemic challenges that impact Black men’s well-being. Participants explore holistic healing, financial empowerment, and civic engagement—reconnecting with their roots while building tools for self-advocacy and community resilience.

Our goal is simple but powerful: to help Black men heal, lead, and thrive—together.
