We are not a charity asking for permission. We are a circle of brothers organizing toward collective healing, power, and self-determination.
Brothers to Brothers is not a service organization waiting to be funded. We are a membership organization rooted in collective decision-making. All members are equal, and titles exist for structure, never hierarchy.
01Mission
Brothers to Brothers builds strong, safe spaces for Black men in Whatcom County to connect, heal, and grow. We focus on mental, physical, and spiritual wellness, education, and community leadership to reclaim our sovereignty and power.
02Vision
Black men supported and resourced to live fully, and strategically leading conversations, connecting across regions, and building economic power for our community.
Our Values
Community Empowerment
We strengthen our community by supporting one another's growth, leadership, and success. Through collaboration, we build networks of mutual support and collective power.
Educational Excellence
Knowledge is a pathway to liberation. From mentorship and cultural education to financial literacy, we create real opportunities to learn, grow, and lead.
Inclusivity
We honor the diversity within the Black experience. Our spaces are welcoming and affirming, open to men of all backgrounds, faiths, and walks of life who share our commitment.
Economic Equity
True freedom includes financial stability and opportunity. We promote entrepreneurship, skill-building, and resource-sharing so our brothers and families thrive.
Collaboration
We are stronger together. We partner with local organizations, educators, and healers to amplify our impact and build bridges that strengthen the whole community.
Healing as a Birthright
Healing is not a reward we earn or a service we wait for. It belongs to us. We make room for rest, restoration, and wholeness as our inheritance, not our privilege.
Health Sovereignty
We reclaim knowledge of self and ownership of our wellbeing. We were lied to about our health and the systems were not built for us. We build health from the community up, not the clinic down.
Sankofa Wellness Project
We were lied to about our health, and the systems were never built for us. Sankofa is how we take it back.
A healing journey for Black men rooted in culture and brotherhood. Mental, physical, and spiritual wellness built from the community up, not the clinic down. Through retreats, workshops, and community, we reclaim knowledge of self and the tools to advocate for ourselves.
